We are proud to release “From These Woods”, the first single and official music video from our upcoming album The Skies Turn Black, out March 6th, 2026.
The song took shape during early demo sessions in a remote mountain cabin. A late-night idea quickly became the foundation for the track — and eventually set the tone for the entire album. “From These Woods” is one of those rare songs that felt almost fully formed from the start, deeply connected to our Sognametal roots.
The music video expands the atmosphere of the track and captures the vastness, darkness and raw spirit of the landscape we come from.
This release marks a renewed confidence and intensity for us as a band. The album pushed us to our limits, but it also reminded us why we still do this. The fire is still there — stronger than ever.
“From These Woods” is only the beginning.
