About two weeks after the norwegian release, Vreid & I Krig have entered at number 27 on the Norwegian national charts; VG-lista top 30. The band is of course extremely satisfied being one of three metal-bands on the list, Dimmu Borgir (1st) and Mayhem (28th) being the other two.
Brilliant reviews of I Krig also keep coming in. We will of course update the reviews-section as we get them.
Finally the album is out there, in Norway that is anyway. The rest of you have to wait until June the 4th. The response has been very satisfying. A lot of great feedback from you people, which is much appreciated.
This time it also seems that a brother horizon of the media is interested in our work. As you can read in the link below, the album will be presented on National Radio tomorrow. Last week we did an interview with NTB (Norway’s main news agency), this has spread the word about the release to all Norwegian media. TV2 Nettavisen gåve it 5/6 and stated that “this is definately the most positive surprising metal album this year”. Plan B , Eternal Terror and Scream magazine also gåve I Krig 5/6, and Scream reports that “this is an album full of classic black metal with an folkloric ambience”, while Norwegian major newspaper Aftenposten describes it as “a successful mix of poetries and musikal rage, and states that “you can sense the atmosphere of Norwegian nature in these songs”.
We will post more reviews and feedback as soon as we get them. In the meantime enjoy the album!!
Norwegian National Radio; NRK P2, will present the new Vreid album “I Krig” on Sunday 13th of May. The show is titled “Søndagsavisa”, and it starts at 11:00 AM.

We sure appreciate to play at this excellent event, and can promise a hellish show at our home field. For more info check out www.stoy.no
We have revieved the first review of I Krig! Nocturnal Cult Mag (UK) writes: “…I Krig is a true testament to modern Norwegian black metal as well as an unconquerable bastion where the roots of traditional black metal reside and its folk roots breed new offspring of horrific proportions. I firmly feel that this album will take them to the next level and their perseverance will finally be rewarded with broad recognition…”
Complete review can be read in the review section.
